this is crazy.

summer is officially over, which makes me happy and a little sad. 

it is crazy to me that i am a sophomore... what? i find that completely weird. 

this year i will be starting to date.. :) drive, go to dances and all sorts of things... and i'm super excited about that! 

today was pretty chill, but you honestly don't do anything the first day of school. best thing was i only got one disclosure document. ONE. 

let's pray that this year will be awesome. i missed you school, i really did. ← wow... i can't believe i just said that, but it's true!

vacation time || part two

it's time for the part two of this vacation, are you excited... because you should be!

on our last day my cute cousin, allie, came down to las vegas for a couple of hours.... in those couple of hours we decided to be dare devils. so we went up to the stratosphere and did the thriller rides.... the view was fantastic and the ride was crazy amazing! i am terrified of heights so this was an accomplishment of mine, pretty proud of myself.

we were on the 112th floor.... that is really high- SUPER HIGH. allie and i were so excited we could not control our selves... i can now finally cross that off my bucket list. i would totally do this again- for sure!

after the stratosphere my aunt and uncle picked us up and we headed up to st. george. after the long car ride, allie and i got huge snowies and scarfed it all gone.

that night we went to go see Mary Poppins at Tuacahn! my teacher is mary poppins, so it was cool to actually see her perform! the cast was amazing, the dances were fantastic... it was super cute. i'm not gonna go into detail about it, because i don't want to spoil it for you people who haven't seen it!

sunday i went to allies church, had lunch, and then went home. 

i love vacations and i'm glad i got to end my summer doing all these things. school is in a week, and i'm so excited i can't handle it!

i am currently on vacation and haven't been near a computer for awhile.... i have a lot of posts coming up soon, so don't you fret. i miss blogging every day or every other day, so i'm excited to get back. sorry about no blogging!

since i am on the computer right now, i guess i could blog about something! i have exciting news, i have reached 10,695 views on my blog! i think that is so crazy, especially since I've only had this blog for a little over a year. i love blogging, and i am thrilled that you readers like reading my blog. thank you!

home for awhile.

pardon me for not posting for four days, i've been camping and i just got home. 

and guess what... tomorrow i leave for girls camp for 5 days. 

i am excited and totally warned out from camping. it will be worth it, because girls camp will be amazing.

at least i get to sleep in my own bed for tonight!

mission accomplished.

so i guess i have some exciting news.. i finished the book of mormon last night! this was my first time reading it, and i am so happy that i decided to read it all the way through! after i finished, i got this huge smile on my face! i started reading this book on january 14 and finished it on july 23... i think that's pretty good? 

every since i've been reading this wonderful book, i have received many blessings every single day. whether they be big or small, they have been amazing blessings. before i started reading, i believed that the b.o.m was true.. now i KNOW that the b.o.m is true, and it is a wonderful feeling. it made me excited going to bed each night, because i would read a chapter or two out of it.

i am so proud of myself for doing this. SO PROUD. i love my heavenly father, and i'm so happy i'm apart of this church. this gospel provides me strength and i know i can achieve anything by my loving heavenly father.

it's official.

early this morning at 5 a.m, i headed up to salt lake to register for American Idol! can i just tell you guys how excited i am?! auditions are tomorrow.... TOMORROW! i am not even close to being nervous- is that weird? oh i'm so excited! i can't believe i am actually doing this.... yay!

kicking off the first week of july.

this first week of july has been pretty awesome. fourth of july, breaking into ryan's house, snowies, movies, and parties. yup that is my kind of week. 

to kick it off megan and i got snowies. this heat wave is ridiculous here in utah, and i was craving a sno cone. 

later that night was our block party and we partied it up for the fourth of july. a couple of girls and i went to my good friend ryan's house, and sorta broke in.. no not really they wouldn't answer their door so i walked in. that's weird... no it actually isn't because ryan and i are like brother and sister. we walked in and of course all the lights were turned off. we ran down to their basement trying to search for them, and ryan's brother scared the pee out of me... literally. later that night we went trash bagging with the boys and us girls and it was oh so fun. 

next day i went to the movies with some boys and girls from the night before to see superman. i could see that movie 5 times because i like it so much.

fourth of july was oh so fun. i was in the provo parade and man it was hot. that parade was so long.... five guys asked for my number, two boys blew kisses at me, and one told me "wow your gorgeous." the fire works were awesome and the food was fantastic. 

i think it is crazy that it's july and crazy that school is almost in a month... wow! hope you all had a wonderful fourth of july!

week full of events.

this week for lehi was, round up week! it was full of crazy and fun things with this whole town, and the lehi royalty had to be at every single thing... it was exhausting especially in this awful heat. 

let's start off with saturday...

saturday:

jackie and i went to the lehi legacy center to be at a princess party. little girls came and we showed them how to be a princess. one girl said the most adorable thing in the whole world to me- "i can't believe i'm meeting a real princess, because you are one- right?!" the girls were so excited to see us. 

monday:

lehi idol, and movie night in the park. i was in the lehi idol, and i did awesome. unfortunately i didn't win $100, but i did great and that's all that matters. lehi royalty helped with the concessions and then later watched rise of the guardians. while going back to my spot, these girls stopped me because they had to get my autograph, that made my night complete. 

tuesday: 

baby contest, and movie night in the park. lehi royalty went to the baby contest and saw the most cutest babies ever. all of them were dressed up so cute, and we had a ball seeing all of them. later that night i went to the movie. luckily the lehi royalty didn't need our help, so i got to hang with my best friend. 

wednesday: 

family bbq, and man was it hot. lehi royalty helped with serving the food... there was fire underneath where i was to keep the food hot, and my stomach was sweating- pretty disgusting. 

thursday: 

stock parade and rodeo. lehi royalty was in the parade... i don't understand why they do this parade because it's just a bunch of horses going down the street. after the parade the lehi royalty went to the rodeo so that they could announce who we are. it was fun, and i almost died from the carriage i was in. when i was waiting for my parents a 16 year old flirted it up with me, and wanted to take me out on a date... wow, he just wouldn't leave me alone.

friday: 

night parade, and rodeo. the night parade was blazing hot, and we had some major swass going on. it was my first time being on a float, so it was super exciting for me. our float is okay, it's not my favorite. after the parade we went back to the rodeo grounds so they could announce the lehi royalty again. 

saturday:

parade, talent show, and rodeo. the parade today was super hot again. before the parade, all the royalty who was going to be in the parade gathered for a light breakfast. it was fun meeting all of the girls. today at 3:00 the lehi royalty is performing at wine's park, it will be fun. we will be doing our talents from the pageant, but instead of me dancing i'm going to sing. tonight we will be announced again at the rodeo, and then i'm free for a couple of days. 

this week was so much fun serving our city. i got to be hang out with my cute new friends and do something completely new for me. i practically have a parade every weekend... next one is the provo parade. that one will be so hot, and so fun at the same time. that parade is 2 hours long, my mouth will be sore from smiling so much... also my legs from standing. come cheer me on in the provo parade- you know you want to.
