crunchy pepper fries.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb Yukon Gold potatoes (about 3 medium potatoes)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil 

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • Salt
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  3. Scrub the potatoes with a brush, under running water until thoroughly clean. Dry with a paper towel.
  4. Cut them in wedges, or into 1/2 inch sticks.
  5. Place cut potatoes in a ziplock bag, add garlic powder, ground black pepper, salt & oil. Shake the bag vigorously until the potato is evenly coated with seasonings.
  6. Transfer potatoes to the baking sheet and spread into single layer.
  7. Roast in the oven for 40 minutes, until golden in color and crispy, tossing them around every 10 minutes.
  8. Serve with ketchup, or combination of ketchup & mayo.
